The Chinese Recorder documented the work of missionaries in China from 1868 until its final issues in Dec. 1941. This work encompasses three indexes: Persons, Missions/Organizations, and Subjects. Journal issues are available in one of 3 places: via Google Books (early years); Pitts Storage Library materials (later years); and via an ILL microfilm request (all years).

A bibliography of published resources developed by the Institute for Theological Research at the University of South Africa. V. 1 covers resources published up to 1980, V. 2 resources from 1981-1985, and V. 3 covers resources published from 1985-1989.
