Please note: This extension works with the Firefox browser only.

LibX @ Emory is a Firefox extension that provides direct access to Emory University Library resources. It features:
Toolbar & right-click context menu: Search EUCLID, Databases @ Emory, and eJournals @ Emory directly from the LibX toolbar or using the right-click context menu.
Quick full text access to many journal articles: LibX can use Google Scholar to search for articles and direct you to the electronic copy subscribed to by Emory Libraries. Select a citation, then drag-and-drop it onto the Scholar button on the LibX toolbar.
Click here to set an Emory University library link in your Google Scholar preferences.

Support for off-campus access via EZProxy: Using the Emory Libraries' EZProxy server, you may reload a page through the proxy, or follow a link via the proxy, making it appear as though you are coming from an on-campus computer.
Autolink Pages: When certain identifiers, such as ISBNs and ISSNs, appear on a web page, they automatically turn into links to Emory's library catalog, EUCLID. Examples: 9780060731328, 055380202X, 0098-7484. DOIs and Pubmed IDs link to Emory's SFX OpenURL resolver. Examples: DOI: 10.1103/PhysRevD.66.063511, PMID: 16646082.
Support for xISBN: A book title can have different ISBNs for the paperback, the hardcover, even for different editions. LibX supports OCLC's xISBN service, and can find a book, given an ISBN, even if Emory's Libraries hold this book under a different ISBN.
Embedded cues:
Libx inserts an Emory shield
"cue" in search results from Amazon, Barnes
& Noble, Google Scholar, the New York Times
Book Review, Yahoo! and other web sites that leads
you to Emory Libraries' print and licensed e-resources.
If you see the Emory "shield" icon, click on the link
to see if something is available at or through Emory.
